What is the Central Access Team?
HopeLink offers a wide range of programs that support individuals in need in different ways. Each program has its own criteria for eligibility. It can be difficult for individuals, their loved ones, and service providers to know which services are best suited for them and how to access the right programming.
CAT, which stands for Central Access Team, is HopeLink’s new single point of entry for anyone looking to get help through one of our programs. Our team is staffed with clinicians and administrative staff who will provide a rapid response to referrals and service inquiries. If you call HopeLink looking for help, CAT will answer. If you are a professional making a referral, CAT will receive it. If you want to know what kind of help HopeLink can provide, CAT can tell you. If a HopeLink service was recommended to you and you want to learn more about it, CAT can explain it. And if you’re not sure what service is right for you or your loved one, CAT can help you decide.
How does CAT work?
CAT receives and processes referrals for all of HopeLink’s behavioral health services. CAT will also help you better understand HopeLink’s services and how to access programming. If you’re an individual looking for help and you don’t know what kind of services you need, or if you’re a family member or provider simply looking to learn more about HopeLink and/or any of its services, CAT has administrative and clinical staff available during normal business hours to answer your questions, learn more about your needs, and make recommendations to get you connected to the type of help that’s best for you- and fast. CAT is designed to connect
NOTE: CAT is not a crisis hotline and cannot provide crisis support. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis and need immediate help, please call 988 or go to your local emergency room.
